After winning £14.2 billion in business from the London 2012 Olympic Games, the UK has proven expertise in generating business opportunities from sporting events. It is estimated that the Rugby World Cup will generate £2.1bn for the UK.

In addition to the Rugby Business Festival, UK Trade & Investment is staging an Export Week in November to encourage tens of thousands of UK firms to sell overseas, and it will return to the Rugby World Cup host city below to kick off its programme.
